Using Resteeped
Resteeped is a tea discovery and journaling app. You can use it to:
- Browse and discover teas from various brands
- Build and maintain your personal tea collection
- Rate and review teas you've tried
- Track your brewing sessions
- Explore teaware and brewing equipment
Your Account
To use certain features, you'll need to create an account. You're responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create (reviews, notes, photos). By posting content, you grant us a license to display it within the app. You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringes on others' intellectual property
- Contains spam or malicious code
- Misrepresents your identity
Tea Information
We strive to provide accurate tea information, but we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy. Tea data comes from various sources including brands, community contributions, and public databases. Always verify important information (like caffeine content or allergens) with the manufacturer.
Intellectual Property
The Resteeped app, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Tea brand names, logos, and product information belong to their respective owners.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the app
- Scrape or harvest data from the app
- Use automated systems to access the app without permission
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.
Disclaimers
Resteeped is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We're not responsible for any health effects from teas you discover through our app — please consult healthcare providers for medical advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Resteeped.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pennsylvania.
